Voter turnout higher than previous midterm elections

Nationally, voter turnout was more than 40 percent this year which was higher than in the last midterm election.

The photo shows a voter in Loveland, Colorado where turnout was much higher than the national average.

The Larimer County Clerk in Fort Collins reported a 76 percent turnout -- a record turnout for a midterm Congressional election.
